1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any fmard API service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

fmard provides developer API services including but not limited to QR code generation, PDF generation, placeholder images, fake data generation, and OCR processing. Services are provided "as-is" on a best-effort basis.

3. API Usage

You may use our APIs for lawful purposes only.
You must not abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt our services.
API keys are personal and must not be shared publicly.
We reserve the right to revoke API keys that violate these terms.
Rate limits apply based on your plan tier.

4. Prohibited Uses

Generating illegal, harmful, or abusive content through our APIs.
Reselling API access without authorization.
Attempting to bypass rate limits or authentication.
Using our services for spam, phishing, or fraud.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor.
Prices are listed in USD and may change with 30 days notice.
You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
Failed payments may result in downgrade to the free tier.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service downtime or interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

Content you generate through our APIs (QR codes, PDFs, etc.) belongs to you. Our service, branding, and source code remain the property of fmard.

8. Limitation of Liability

fmard is provided "as-is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
